Purpose

This is the second of two self-development activities that together distil six practical leadership lessons from the outstanding achievements of Sir Ernest Shackleton's 1915 Antarctic expedition - a story of superhuman endurance and survival.

After completing these two activities you will have knowledge of Shackleton's unique leadership technique and be able to apply six practical lessons in your own work environment and to coach others.
